So, you’ve never worn virtual reality glasses and never experienced a live simulation? That doesn’t matter at all, you don’t need any prior experience for the tour, because the Discovery Dock is a unique highlight for everybody. Our guides are there for you during the tour and are always available to assist you.
We recommend a minimum age of 7 years-old, as the content is more in line with the interests of adults and is not specifically designed for children. And a certain size and dexterity is necessary for the technical devices we use – we don’t want children to be disappointed.

During the exclusive City Experience Tour, you can enjoy the Discovery Dock with your friends, family or colleagues exclusively after the regular opening hours. Opening hours
Opening hours are Wednesday through Saturday 12 to 6pm and Sundays 10am to 4pm.
Your time slot will have a length of two hours. You are free to use the entirety of this time, come later or leave earlier within the booked time.
School classes
Trade routes, ships and dry docks, container loading, customs clearance, music and more – topics that are an integral part of curricula. In the Discovery Dock, the multifaceted topic of the city and the port is communicated interactively, digitally and innovatively. Edutainment is the order of the day. This is where your students will attain the desire for more knowledge. We offer special prices for school classes from the intermediate level (from 15 persons).
